OHM Fitness Opens First West Valley Location

OHM Fitness, the cutting-edge electro-muscle stimulation (EMS) fitness concept, has officially launched its first West Valley location at The Shops at Lake Pleasant in Peoria.

This 2,200-square-foot studio marks the start of the brand’s expansion into the West Valley, with plans for additional regional locations. The studio, located at 25738 N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy., has attracted nearly 200 members since its soft opening in November.

“This location represents the first of three planned OHM Fitness locations in that area,” Co-owner Candice Johnson said. “We’re excited to bring innovative fitness solutions to this growing community.”

The OHM Fitness concept revolves around its signature 25-minute EMS workouts that provide the benefits of a three-hour traditional gym session through advanced EMS technology. Delivered through the proprietary EMPower Suit, this allows for low-impact, high-efficiency workouts designed to maximize results in less time.

The Peoria studio results from a unique partnership between two local families: Casey and April Meyeres and Chris and Candice Johnson, who were inspired by their success with the OHM concept.

“What started as our two families driving 30 minutes to Scottsdale to work out has turned into an exciting business venture,” April Meyeres said. “We believed so strongly in the concept that we wanted to make it accessible to our community.”

The new location, situated near popular brands such as Restore Hyper Wellness and Over Easy, features spaces dedicated to personal training and virtual coaching, offering an evolved approach to EMS workouts backed by science.

With OHM, folks can get results faster in a 25-minute low-intensity workout without the wear and tear of HIIT routines. The emPower Suit generates electro pulses that engage up to 90 percent of all major muscle groups. EMS workouts have many benefits, including building lean muscle, improving strength and flexibility, increasing endurance, burning excess fat, toning and tightening, and more.

“The results have been extraordinary,” Casey Meyeres said. “Our low-impact, high-efficiency workouts are making a real difference for our members, and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone.”

OHM Fitness also offers franchise opportunities for entrepreneurs interested in joining the rapidly growing fitness industry, valued at $96 billion. For more information, visit ohmfitness.com.
