RED Development has announced new details surrounding the current redevelopment of the former Paradise Valley Mall, which will result in a 100-plus acre mixed-use community and destination featuring a brand new look and logo, as well as a new name.
Now simply called PV, the reimagined mall will offer a whole new level of community featuring luxury residential complexes and gathering spaces situated amongst a mecca of dining, entertainment and retail experiences. PV will also pay tribute to the mall’s long-time legacy and history by including pieces of the original architecture.
Phase one of the multi-year, multi-phase project will open in mid-2024 and include a multi-family living development by StreetLights Residential featuring 400 upscale residences and premium amenities, Whole Foods Market, a new Harkins movie-theater and upscale dining concept, as well as a lineup of best-in-class restaurants.
New details for phase two of the development have unveiled that Life Time, the nation’s premiere healthy lifestyle brand, will also be joining PV in 2026, introducing its fully integrated concept of the athletic country club and luxury-for-lease residences, Life Time Living, to Arizona for the first time.
Debuted in 2021, the Life Time Living concept promotes healthy lifestyles by seamlessly intertwining fitness with high-end residences, luxury amenities and wellness experiences.
The planned 11-story Life Time Living complex at PV will include more than 300 luxury residential residences featuring a mix of single, two-bedroom and penthouse units ranging from 850 square feet to more than 2,100 square feet. Amenities will include thoughtfully-designed community spaces and terraces, resident lounges, co-working space, private dog areas, bike lounges, advanced security and more, plus access to the 92,000-square-foot luxury athletic Life Time country club just steps away.
The new athletic country club will feature dedicated studios for a range of group fitness classes like barre, cycling and yoga, spacious floors equipped with cardio and strength-based training equipment for small groups and individual workouts, outdoor courts, a Kids Academy, cafe, spa and rooftop beach club connected to the Life Time Living rooftop pool.
