Designer Eric Hedlund discusses the specification of materials similar to those used in boat construction to pay tribute to the family’s history, as well as the importance of well-designed lighting on the project. Lutron’s automated shading solutions offered a wide range from large window applications to the elegant Palladiom aesthetic to fit all of the shading needs for the home.
This home was built for entertaining, so it was crucial to have TVs, speakers and distributed audio in all of the right places- both indoors and out. Wipliance utilizes a motorized TV mount to tuck the kitchen TV away when not in use, and Samsung’s Terrace outdoor TVs can withstand harsh elements and are made for direct sunlight viewing.
No homeowner wants to spend hours managing their home technology- so it’s important that these systems are easy to use and enjoyable to own.
