I was born…
In Houston, Texas to an Asian father and Latina mother back when interracial marriages weren’t common. Growing up, I learned to become pliable to extreme polarity of cultures, ideologies, and traditions. I am grateful! I innately became open-minded and engaging to mores and norms that aren’t always my own. Success in life has, at its core, the requisite to be malleable and agile in response to the “curve balls” that come your way. Being bi-racial taught me to be both of those things.
