More about E.J…
I began my career in the music and television industry, after eight years I found that I wanted to be involved in a career that fed my soul as well as my pocketbook. I had always studied yoga and decided to get certified as a teacher. After receiving my certification I began working in the mental health field and earned my Masters in Counseling. I spent seven years working in residential treatment while building a private practice. I have spent the past nine summers at a boys camp in south-central Maine at Camp Winnebago as the head counselor, while maintaining a psychotherapy private practice in Tucson, from September-May, working with a broad range of mental health issues.
My wife Tarah, a mental health practitioner as well, and I own and operate a couples and family therapy center called He Said She Said Couples Counseling. We have created programming and co-facilitate couples and family therapy. We have had great success helping couples navigate the inevitable challenges of maintaining a healthy relationship.
I believe individuals develop behavioral and emotional patterns which may begin as short term solutions but can develop into long term problems. By cultivating awareness, clarifying values and approaching life with purpose; individuals, families, and couples can minimize emotional suffering and move closer to their potential.
