Meet Laura, she is full of energy, tough, and loves to brush her teeth. Read how she finished these 20 sentences.
Name: Laura Franklin
Age: 30
Title: Creative Director
Married/Single: Taken by my best friend 🙂
Kids: Someday
Live: Day by day (in Scottsdale)
I was born…
in a little cabin in the city of Forrest Grove, Oregon
My favorite thing about Arizona…
is the warm toilet seats and tons of sunshine every single day.
I’m listening to…
of Montreal, MGMT, the Blow, Phoenix, Rick James, Three Dog Night and just about everything in-between.
My family…
is my everything and anything!
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
Obama and Betty White.
One thing I cannot live without…
a tooth brush. Pretty sure I’d die.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
in the Military. Seemed like a tough thing for a girl.
I’m inspired by…
nature and life around me. The world is a pretty awesome place when you think about it
The one person who motivates me is…
My mom. She planted a tiny seed in my heart when I was born a seed of forgiveness, acceptance and hope. Because of that tiny seed I have been able to see the beauty in this life in others and in the world around me.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
the quality of food. Proper nutrition can create peace starting on the inside. When we feel good on the inside, we treat others better. It starts with ourself.
The perfect day would be…
a monsoon storm outside, my puppy, boyfriend and good movie inside!
My first job was…
as a lifeguard and teaching little ones to swim!
My favorite escape…
water (any kind—bath, pool, river, beach and even the rain!)
My life…
is already better than I could have ever hoped and better than my dreams—not including the ones where I fly of course.
I’m currently working on…
a billion things at once new apps, websites, and veggie juice recipes.
Always…
remember you only have NOW to be happy, don’t waste it.
Never…
stray from who you are on the inside, because the outsides will certainly change.
Favorite Quote…
“there is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.” Nelson Mandela
Biggest Dream…
to own a small organic farm with my family around me with lots of animals, tools and art supplies to create everything and anything and somehow not get fat eating chocolate chip cookies and pizza.
My Pet Peeve(s)…
fake conversations—and uncomfortable shoes, even if they look good it seems silly to me that you’d sacrifice comfort for style. Also Makeup… the idea is dumb. I’ve gotta go put on lipstick now 🙂
