Why did you go into that industry?
When I became one of the 1st female Personal Trainers in 1982, I realized that as a health advocate I’d found a way to pursue my professional passions while bringing joy to my clients daily, developing their life plans for exercise and wellness.
What made you want to be a part of Arizona Foothills Magazine’s Most Eligible Phoenicians 2021?
At 58 years old … why not represent those women over 50 that are still vibrant,healthy, joyous and eligible?
Are you an Arizona native? If not, when and why did you move to Arizona?
I came to Scottsdale Arizona for an interview to be the director of the fitness program for a small Fitness Club. I fell in love with Arizona and believed it would be the perfect place to raise my family. Interviewed in January of 1988 ..moved here a month later and never left!
What is your favorite aspect of Arizona?
It’s 200 plus days of sun gives me plenty of opportunities to stay active in nature. Whether you’re looking for mountains, lakes, desert or rivers, Arizona has what you want to see within a reasonable distance.
Grand Canyon & Sedona are two of my favorites.
Also, the Arizona sky never disappoints!
Have you ever been married in the past?
Yes, I married and divorced the same man twice and now we remain good friends.
Would you want to get married/remarried?
Yes, I’m looking for my forever best friend.
Do you have any children?
Yes, two amazing sons. Ages 35 & 38 years old.
Would you like to have children?
Holding out for grandchildren.

Would you describe yourself as more of an extrovert or introvert?
Social Introvert

Maybe a little of both. I love having a good time hanging out with my old friends as well as meeting new friends, yet I also need time to recharge and just be with my own thoughts.
You have the weekend off, and no work needs to be done. What are you doing? Arranging a happy hour with friends or taking a road trip.

In the world – Machu Picchu

Where do you want to go next?
I have two … Varanasi – The spiritual capital of India and Dubai -The city that is synonymous with luxury, hence reflecting my wide range of interests.

I’m a romantic that believes in magic. If two seemingly torn people are able to find strength and love in each other ..what’s more romantic than that? Runners ups..the Notebook & City of Angels.
What kind of music is your favorite? Do you have a favorite artist?
I love all music, however musicals are my favorite.

It’s menu is based on the principles of the anti-inflammatory diet.
Their eclectic menu is full of organic ingredients, herb-infused cocktails, and yummy desserts.

Tell us something that many people may not know about you:
In 2003 I formed a 501c(3) “Racegirl BMX League” to help the promotion and development needs of women’s competitive cycling. The young female athletes were an under-served market. I formed the 1st. All Female BMX Competitive Team and sponsored over 1,000 girls globally.
