A typical day in my life includes… getting up early and catching up on the daily news from around the world. An exercise class, a quick errand, and then getting stuck into my to-do list. A late evening walk followed by a family dinner completes the day.
I was born… in Johannesburg South Africa. Immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1992 and moved to Arizona in 2003
My favorite thing about Arizona… The most magnificent sunsets. They remind me of the evenings in the game parks of South Africa.
I’m listening to… music from the ’70s. David Bowie still gives me chills.
My family… lives on three different continents. South Africa, Australia, and the USA so connecting with all of them is an integral part of my day.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… with my family, all together at one table.
One thing I cannot live without… My bubble baths at night…Need I say more?
When I was younger, I wanted to be… an inventor. I was always tinkering with some idea and really believed that one day I would discover something awesome. I think I have!
I’m inspired by… people who have a selfless attitude and a desire to help.
The one person who motivates me is… My greatest motivator is my husband. He is always supportive no matter what path I choose.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Common respect towards each other and a desire to work together.
The perfect day would be… Hitting all the outlet stores with nobody complaining that it is time to leave.
My first job was… in a clothing boutique. I switched jobs when I realized I had more fun chatting with customers than selling them clothes.
My favorite escape… the couch with a cup of tea, my favorite TV show…and a bag of licorice
My life… Grateful for my past and excited for the future.
