A typical day in my life includes… Wake up, make a cup of coffee, then get my little boys dressed and fed with a quick breakfast before driving them to daycare. After dropping them off, I typically go to the gym then a local coffee shop for the first part of the day to knock out administrative tasks for my small business, then I help to pack and fulfill orders for customers who are based across the U.S. and Canada. At the end of the day, when the weather is nice, my husband and I try to ride our bikes as often as possible to pick the boys up from daycare, and head home where my husband then cooks us all dinner (he’s the chef of the family!), I throw in a load of laundry, we give the boys baths, help with homework, read books and it’s lights out. My husband and I will usually watch a movie to unwind at night, or throw on one of our favorite Standups if we have more work to do.

My favorite thing about Arizona… I have lived in Arizona my entire life, and the beautiful Sunsets are still my favorite thing.

I’m listening to… New Podcasts on Product Based Businesses, Shopify and Selling Wholesale. Music is always playing in our house, which typically rotates based on mood; Daily Mixes on Spotify, Milky Chance, Mt. Joy, The Weeknd, Young the Giant, Fleetwood Mac, or my all-time favorite: Van Morrison.

My family… Is my everything! It’s beautiful chaos with two little boys running around, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Bill Murray.

One thing I cannot live without… My paper home planner. It’s so helpful to have a visual calendar tracker of all the family activities, work events and travel.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… Working in a newsroom or for a news station. In college, I interned for two summers at a major news network.

I’m inspired by… Other female entrepreneurs and those who work hard to overcome adversity.

The one person who motivates me is… My husband.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Photo filters.

The perfect day would be… Starting with the whole family sleeping in; having a spontaneous day of fun as a family without an agenda, driving until we see places we want to stop, creating amazing memories… and no toddler meltdowns would be a bonus!

My first job was… At a party store in high school.

My favorite escape… Taking a heated yoga class or heading up north for a nice long weekend to relax and hike.

My life… “is a movie” (one of my favorite Spotify stations)

I’m currently working on… Expanding my small business, creating balance, and participating in more school activities for my boys.

Always… Find the silver lining.

Never… Make assumptions.

Favorite Quote… “It’s a Brand New Day” – Van Morrison

Biggest Dream… To continue growing my Lily and Llama team, building the brand and sustaining a healthy work-life balance.
