A typical day in my life includes… My morning routine includes sunshine and playtime with my dogs; Wordle and Duolingo; reading a chapter in a book; reading my news sources, and gratitude affirmations or meditation time. The rest of it varies – business time, meeting with my team, meeting with friends or colleagues for lunch or drinks/dinner, cooking, pool time in the summer, late afternoon walks. Pretty boring overall. 😉
I was born… a long time ago 😊 in a small southern Arizona town on the Mexican border (Douglas)
My favorite thing about Arizona… There is so much diversity in the state. You can live in the desert and drive two hours to the mountains where the temperature is 30 degrees cooler, or a few hours south and get to the beach in Mexico. Also, the sunsets. Nowhere else has these consistently amazing sunsets!
I’m listening to… what’s come on since I started this: Jelly Roll, Teddy Swims, Noah Kahan.
My family… is amazing, I hit the jackpot. Very supportive, relatively “normal.”
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… either Richard Branson or Cher.
One thing I cannot live without… my dogs. And probably some sort of sugar. :/
When I was younger, I wanted to be… a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and an archaeologist.
I’m inspired by… stories of resilience and perseverance.
The one person who motivates me is… anyone that can get up at the crack of dawn and go exercise.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… a focus on individuals learning and using emotional intelligence and coping skills.
The perfect day would be… being able to sleep in with the pups; making brunch with someone I love; a hike or pickleball class; great interaction and brainstorming about the business; afternoon spa time; out to a new restaurant with friends and/or family; a couple of really good martinis.
My first job was… at El Taco, I think I was 13. I quit after the owner threw a steam pan of water on me. :/
My favorite escape… I love going up north to my mountain cabin in the summer. I also love Rocky Point, Mexico for some beach time.
My life… is generally relatively normal/boring, but it is beyond amazing and blessed.
I’m currently working on… a new program for small businesses who bid on state government contracting.
Always… keep perspective and have some empathy. And laugh at yourself!
Never… assume you know what other people are going through.

Biggest Dream… Having the financial means to help small businesses on a larger scale, build and grow their businesses. And a luxury trip to the Maldives.
