A typical day in my life includes…anything to spend time with my kids while they are still little enough to want me around!
I was born…in northern Virginia before my parents moved us out west to Arizona.
My favorite thing about Arizona…if you like the outdoors, I don’t think there are many places that can beat it. Just a couple hours in another direction and you can feel like you’ve been transported to a different planet.
I’m listening to…mostly podcasts with the new football season kicking off. I like to get my hopes up before it all comes crashing down after the season starts.
My family…is everything. We’re probably a little crazy (aren’t we all?) but i don’t know what I’d do without them.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…someone who has a lot of stories to tell. I’d have to choose Jeff Probst, host of survivor. The show has been around forever, I can only imagine the stories he has.
One thing I cannot live without…the internet. I’m too accustomed to find out the answer to a question in the blink of an eye, or being able to talk to someone anywhere at any time.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…Indiana Jones. Then i learned that archaeology was just a tad different.
I’m inspired by…entrepreneurs. Everyone has an idea for something, but those who actually go out and do it? Now that’s cool.
The one person who motivates me is…Can it be just one? I’m cheating, my family without a doubt.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…reclining seats on airplanes.
The perfect day would be…when the panthers win the Superbowl.
My first job was…changing tires. I didn’t last too long.
My favorite escape…grilling. With a couple of younger kids, it’s one of those few times where I have some time to myself outdoors.
My life…is pretty great. I’ve been so fortunate to have fantastic people around to coach and mentor me. I try to do the same whenever possible.
I’m currently working on…tiling a kitchen. It’s a first for us, wish me luck.
Always…look before crossing the road.
Never…forget about the person. Life is hard, we all have our moments, don’t forget that there is usually a person on the receiving end, especially when talking online.

Biggest Dream… I’m a bit of sci-fi nerd. I’d love to live long enough to see space travel as a regular thing.

Bio-on yourself/company: Michael Cole is head of sales for Google Fiber in Arizona. He received his associate degree from the University of Central Florida and later, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing online. Prior to his current role he was Director of Care Sales, GoDaddy; General Manager, Sales and Operations for Hargray Communications (now Cable One/Sparklight), and Director, Consumer and Small Business Inside Sales for Windstream Communications. He is an NCTI certified Installer. His current job duties at Google Fiber include touching base with consumers, property owners, and business leaders on how fiber can help them achieve more online. Michael has been married to his wife for 10 years and they have a 7-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl. Michael’s biggest claim to fame? He has never lost a game of foosball.
