AZF: What is your “life motto“
JH: The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
JH: I am a nurse by trade. Being an entrepreneur became the right path for me when my mom and I wanted to share our passion for this fabulous salt with others.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
JH: I feel best supported when my community celebrates my wins with me and encourages me with truths when I have setbacks.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
JH: My kids being so proud of SEE SALT® and all they (we) have conquered. They feel like it is theirs’ also.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
JH: My perfect Saturday morning is a bike ride to LGO with my kids to get a latte.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
JH: It’s not a matter of “will” your business succeed; it is WHEN will it succeed. Don’t give up and keep evolving until it’s right.
