“I help high-achieving women, particularly in male-dominated careers (health, tech, finance, etc), move from burnout to badass with clarity and confidence!
After a decade of working as a successful doctor of physical therapy, including building up a 6 figure clinic during the pandemic, I knew I couldn’t stay on that path. In the first 7 years, I was hit with what I now know was burnout probably 6 times before I said enough is enough. It took years and tens of thousands of dollars to learn everything that I now teach clients for a fraction of the time and cost. Moreover, I have seen time and time again, both with patients and colleagues, that true wellness is an inside-out job. Too many women in these fields are making moves, yet sacrificing themselves each time – same burnout, different packaging.
Too many clients that I saw back in my clinic with another injury or illness were because their system couldn’t handle the stress they were putting on themselves. I felt a pit in my stomach knowing that they were trying to juggle far too much and self-sabotaging with old coping skills. Too many times I talked with women, like me, who had NO idea how to rest without guilt, how to slow down enough to even begin to listen to their body or what their soul really wanted. During those 10 years, I began to get certified and gain knowledge in a variety of techniques and tools that help with nervous system regulation, emotional resiliency, stress reduction, holding boundaries, breaking burnout cycles, etc. Suddenly patients were coming back to me repeatedly for those things more so than the physical injury aspect. As I practiced what I preached, to let go of the identity of being a DPT, I realized that’s what I truly felt called to and passionate about!
I am a seasoned trauma & somatic informed mindset & success coach, podcast host, author and speaker. It is my mission in life to guide you toward your favorite version of yourself and your life! My superpower is to collapse time for you to gain the clarity and confidence you’re looking for. Through my transformative one-on-one sessions, you will get the 180 you’re looking for in life in just 180 minutes!

AZF: What is your “life motto“
MD: In typical Enneagram 7 fashion, I have a few! The 3 that encompass how I live are: “Movement is Medicine” “Eat Well & Explore Often” and “Life is too short to not live it full out (in the way YOU want)”
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
MD: Absolutely not. While getting my doctorate, I remember someone asking if I wanted to own my own business and my response was an emphatic “hell no.” Fast forward six or so years, I left my corporate job to be my father’s caregiver across the country when he was suddenly diagnosed with cancer and given 3-6 months to live. During that time, every day I heard him say things that made it clear he deeply regretted living life based on the expectations of others and society that never permitted him to live authentically. That lit a fire under me in a way that I cannot put into words. And while for others, living your best and most authentic life may not require entrepreneurship, I quickly realized mine did. Everything about ME needed to have full freedom and flexibility as it pertains to not just time and location, but also creativity and visionary work.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
MD: The amount of gratitude and support I feel when someone personally invests in or refers a loved one to my one-on-one sessions (the 180 you’re looking for in 180 minutes) cannot be put into words! The same goes for leaving reviews on my podcast and/or my journal.
AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
MD: My WHY is to help as many women as possible break out of expectations and their conditioning to transform from burnout to badass, living their most authentic and joyful life. Any time I hit a challenge, I see my dad and hear those regrets again, and my immediate thought is “Absolutely not” and I charge ahead.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
MD: Cold plunge and breathwork, sunrise hike (solo, or with my fiancé or a friend, depending on what I need), coffee outside in a hammock with my pup and a good book.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
MD: Deeply know and feel your why and have a strong foundational mindset – all too often (myself included) I see people starting out go for the strategies or blueprints or 423127 courses on the “how,” when it’s your deep mindset work that is make or break in the end. It is the foundation upon which everything else is built – and you wouldn’t build a house on a cracked foundation, right? So stop doing that with yourself and your biz (because yes, those are intertwined).
