A typical day in my life includes… There is honestly nothing typical about my days. But the norm is wake up at 4 am, work out, cold plunge, read or plan for the day, make breakfast for my family and off to work. Work hands on all day, then make time to spend with my family. Whether we are taking the kids off to Jujitzu, going for a walk or simply playing a game at home.
I was born… In a very small town of under 10,000 people that survived off the paper mill that was built in this town. The town is called Anahuac, Chihuahua MEX.
My favorite thing about Arizona… That my family is here and that we have everything and anything you can imagine with in a 3-4hr drive. Let’s not forget about our amazing winters.
I’m listening to… Right now I’m listening to “Never Split The Difference” by Chris Voss.
My family… Is my EVERYTHING. They are my drive, my rock, the most amazing little family I could have ever imagined. They are the Reason for LIFE.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… This is a loaded question as there are so many different people in different aspects of life that I would love to have dinner with, from business to the car industry and everything in between. But if I had to choose just one, it would be one of my Grandpas. I would love to have learned more about our family traditions and culture.
One thing I cannot live without… There is not a “thing” I can live without, but my family is something that I don’t want to do life without.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… Man, there were so many things that I wanted to be. The one that I can think of is that I wanted to be a “body guy,” this is a person that works on cars at a collision center, as that was my Father’s profession. But he didn’t let me pursue that and told me to do something else. Well, now I own the shop!
I’m inspired by… My kids and wife. They see me leave every day for work and failure is not an option. Another inspiration of mine is my parents. They came to this country with NOTHING. Today they are both retired at 59 and own real estate. They are a tremendous inspiration.
The person/people who motivate(s) me is/are… These change often, one that doesn’t change at all is my wife. What an amazing human and my biggest supporter and cheerleader. She inspires me every day to be better!
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Inequality in humans is the biggest change we need. But I try to focus on things I can actually do. I’m changing myself to be a better version of me daily, as you have to be the change you want in the world.
The perfect day would be… A day full of adventure and discovery with my family.
My first job was… A telemarketer for a mortgage company.
My favorite escape… Anywhere peaceful, by the beach or a rural area where it is quiet and in nature.
My life… I try my best to improve and be a better human every day. This includes health and wellbeing, being a good parent, husband, and friend. Be the best boss and entrepreneur I can be and travel as much as I can. “Shoot, ready, aim.”
I’m currently working on… My discipline and ability to execute.
