Age: 38

Married/Single: Married to Mike Leach
Kids: Ryan, age 9, and Madeline, age 7
City you live in: Chandler
A typical day in my life includes…
I drop off the kids at school, go for a run, and then, work on our Potty Pals™ business until school is out. My afternoons and evenings are spent taking the kids to their sports practices and games. After dinner, it’s homework, kids’ bedtime routines, and then, Mike and I watch one or two of our favorite shows.
I was born…
in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
My favorite thing about Arizona…
the 70 degree winters.
I’m listening to…
Pandora’s Today’s Hits Radio Station (it helps me get through my runs!)
My family… is the best thing that ever happened to me.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
Melissa Berstein, Co-Founder of educational children’s toy company Melissa & Doug®
One thing I cannot live without…
our family’s annual summer trip to Virginia.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
a TV news broadcaster.
I’m inspired by…
the children and parents whom we visit at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. They are facing scary and difficult problems, yet they often do so with amazing courage, faith, and smiles on their faces.
The one person who motivates me is…
my husband. He didn’t listen to all of the people who said he couldn’t make it as an NFL player and now is getting ready to begin his 16th season in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be…
the pace at which we lead our lives today. It seems so much busier than what I remember growing up.
The perfect day would be…
an early run, brunch, an afternoon spent golfing with the family, and then, a cookout with friends.
My first job was…
as a pharmaceutical sales representative.
My favorite escape…
from childhood through college, was basketball. Now, it is a good workout. Dinner at The Mission with one of their delicious margaritas would also qualify.
My life…
is a blessing.
I’m currently working on…
the Potty Pals™ business that Mike and I started. We came up with the idea for a new potty training product after learning from experiences with our own children. It consists of a cuddly, stuffed animal Pal who sings and dances, a colorfully illustrated book, and a progress chart with stickers. We currently sell Potty Pals on our website (www.pottypals.com) and on Amazon.com.
Always…
work hard and be kind.
Never…
be afraid to try new things.
Favorite Quote…“Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.” – John Wooden
Biggest Dream…
as a family, it is for the Arizona Cardinals to win the Super Bowl this season! Personally, I want to lead a life that makes a positive impact on my community.
My Pet Peeve…
when my kids leave their clothes and wet towels on the floor.
