Subway, not exciting but my manager let us listen to Depeche Mode at night so that was a bonus.

is when I have a little down time and can go get a massage or facial to have some me time.

Doun Lambert is the founder of DawnStar™ and from Carlsbad, CA in the North San Diego area. A few years ago she was searching for holistic modalities that encouraged self care and self love so had gotten certified in Yoga, Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Reflexology while still working in finance as a mortgage loan officer. It was not until she began creating jewelry using natural crystals that she felt excited and fulfilled when seeing others light up when wearing her creations. This lead to her to creating body adornments that are associated with chakras and one’s energy and educating them on the stones. That is how her brand DawnStar came to fruition. Her name means “Star” in Thai (her mother is Thai). And, now here she is a year later going to Phoenix Fashion Week, feeling very blessed.
