A typical day in my life includes…

spin class first thing in the morning, followed by an iced coffee from Starbucks (an addiction I just can’t kick) and then getting to work running my new PR firm, Adler Public Relations, where there are no typical days. Sometimes it’s back-to-back TV segments, other days it’s pitching media, meeting with clients or planning a big campaign or event. If I’m lucky, it ends with a patio happy hour somewhere with friends having a spicy marg or dirty martini.

I was born…

in Southern California, grew up in Ventura County and went to UCLA for college.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

that you can live, work and play without leaving the Valley, but great destinations and the ocean are only a short drive or flight away.

I’m listening to…

lots of podcasts lately, mainly entrepreneurial ones like Rise with Rachel Hollis, How I Built This or Why Not Now. When I’m not listening to podcasts, I’m usually listening to my favorite Spotify playlists – mostly hip-hop and country.

My family…

is everything to me. I am lucky to have my mom, dad and sister in Arizona and we are all super close. About to welcome a bro-in-law, too!

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Rachel Hollis. I am inspired by the empire she has built by empowering women to pursue their passions and step into who they were meant to be. I have read all her books, listen to her podcast religiously and am considering attending her business conference this fall.

One thing I cannot live without…

Mexican food.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a veterinarian and then a lawyer. Somehow, I ended up in PR.

I’m inspired by…

successful entrepreneurs who have created something amazing from nothing.

The one person who motivates me is…

I’m really self-motivated, but if I have to choose someone, it would be my dad. I got my work ethic from him and he instilled in me from an early age that effort equals results.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

gender inequality. Pay disparity and marginalization of women, especially in different cultures around the world.

The perfect day would be…

somewhere tropical, on the beach with a cocktail in hand.

My first job was…

as a receptionist at salon and spa in CA when I was 16.

My favorite escape…

traveling. I love experiencing new places, cultures and adventures. Traveling gives me perspective on life that can’t be achieved otherwise.

My life…

is pretty damn good. Can’t complain!

I’m currently working on…

growing my new PR firm.

Always…

be grateful and give credit where credit is due.

Never…

give up or settle. Life is too short for it to be mediocre.

Favorite Quote…

“The only person you need to be better than is the one you were yesterday.”

Biggest Dream…

to see as much of this world as possible.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

people with no sense of urgency.
