With May being Nurses Month, Great Wolf Lodge is doing its part to give back to the community by showing its support and gratitude to all the nurses at the forefront of the COVID-19 outbreak with Nights for Nurses. The campaign is donating a free overnight stay to a registered nurse for every room booked now through May 12 with the code THANKYOU. With support from the American Nurses Association (ANA), Great Wolf Lodge has plans to donate up to 10,000 overnight stays to nurses to enjoy quality time with their families.
In addition to giving back to nurses, guests booking a stay using the promo code THANKYOU will also unlock a discount of up to 50-percent off standard room rates for stays July 6 through Oct. 29, 2020.
Great Wolf Lodge and ANA will distribute the donated room nights to nurses with stays available at any of the company’s resorts. Based on the final number of rooms donated, Great Wolf Lodge will set aside a select number of stays per resort, per day to ensure nurses are able to participate. Starting June 1, nurses will be able to book their complimentary stay between Aug. 1 and Dec. 17, 2020.
“We are immensely grateful to our nurses and health care heroes who are going above and beyond to save lives on the frontline while spending months apart from their families and friends. While no words or acts can fully show how thankful we are, we are pleased to provide these nurses with an opportunity to enjoy some special moments at Great Wolf Lodge with their loved ones when this has subsided.”
Murray Hennesy, Chief Executive Officer, Great Wolf Resorts
This effort is part of Great Wolf Lodge’s company-wide Paw Pledge initiative, focusing on health and safety and giving back to the community. To encourage future stays, Great Wolf Lodge is extending a free cancellation or change program that allow guests to cancel or change a reservation with no fees or penalties if done so before June 16, 2020.
