An exciting new boutique hotel is coming soon to Flagstaff.
Slated to open in January 2022, High Country Motor Lodge is inspired by the vast, rugged beauty of Northern Arizona. Located off the iconic U.S. Route 66 that has galvanized many a grand adventure throughout the decades, an authentic and retro vibe will permeate throughout the property.
While staying close to nature—epic stargazing included—Northern Arizona University and downtown Flagstaff’s main city attractions are just steps away from the hotel.
The 123 guestrooms will range from private suites that each have their own fire pits and seating areas; courtyard rooms overlooking the great lawn and pool; and classic rooms outfitted in signature Americana decor. A fun custom box set of mix-tapes and a cassette player awaits guests in each accommodation.
High Country Motor Lodge will also debut the first Nordic spa experience in the state and the largest outdoor pool in Northern Arizona. Widespread meeting and event space across 1,200 square feet indoors and 3,500 square feet outdoors can be adapted to everything from weddings in the wilderness to board meetings.
The all-new restaurant and bar concept, General Store, will serve as a central space to gather and relax in a casual environment for classic games, like shuffleboard, pool, and darts, as well as activities, like outdoor movies, picnics, trivia nights, and more. Here, guests may also stop by for quick grab-and-go items along with craft beer, cocktails and pinsa, a special type of pizza.
