Phoenix can expect an influx of visitors this holiday season.
The Valley of the Sun has ranked among the most popular holiday destinations nationwide, according to a recent study by RetailMeNot and Priceline that assessed holiday travel and spending trends.
Priceline looked at data for travel booked from Dec. 17, 2021 to Jan. 1, 2022 to uncover the most popular U.S. destinations for holiday travelers, as well as the most affordable for those still deciding where to go.
Thanks to its warm winter weather and affordability, it’s no surprise that Phoenix is one of the best places to be to celebrate the holidays.
Other popular destinations include Las Vegas, New York and Orlando.
