Jettly is pulling back the curtain to the ins and outs of private jet chartering.
The online aviation broker has launched a new and transparent tool that aims to make booking a private jet as easy as calling an Uber or renting an Airbnb on your phone.
The service works “just like Expedia,” Jettly CEO Justin Crabbe tells Travel + Leisure, adding that “the typical private jet broker model is like, bringing it back to the ’90s, before the Airbnbs and Ubers of the world.”
Jettly’s new platform mirrors the straightforward user interface of Google Flights, Kayak or, yes, even Expedia. All you have to do is fill out points of departure and destination along with dates of interest, and Jettly will source pricing data and even jet types from several private charter operators so you can make the best choice in an instant.
While seamless decision making is the goal, this wouldn’t be luxury without a concierge service that’s also available should you need special arrangements made to help tailor your journey. Better yet, everything can be done via text, if that’s your preference, rather than over the phone.
