Retro by Voltaggio, the new Las Vegas restaurant from TV stars, judges and celebrity chef icons Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, is rolling out the red carpet to its new summer series of ’80s-themed prom nights complete with dancing, photo opps, a curated dinner and more for the ultimate summer of throwbacks.
The popular venue at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is kicking off its summer prom night series on July 28, which continues the last Friday of every month through September. Each prom night will feature a dance floor with a live ’80s cover band, a Jungle Juice punch bowl, themed photo opportunities, a prom king and queen coronation and a prix fixe dinner from the brothers’ electrifying new menu.
Guests are encouraged to live out their prom night fantasies by arriving at the event in their finest ’80s attire, which will begin with a quintessential prom picture elevated by optional boutonnieres and corsages. Attendees will then be escorted to the bar, where they will receive a glass of “spiked” punch to enjoy while they decide who to nominate for the night’s prom king and queen.
The evening will continue with a seated dinner featuring a shared menu of Retro’s nostalgic dishes, including Deviled Eggs, Mini Pepperoni Rolls, Sole Meuniere, Beef Pot Roast, Shells & Cheese and Green Bean Casserole, followed by a dessert buffet complete with a decadent chocolate fountain. Guests will then flock to the dance floor, where the cover band will play the best of the ’80s before announcing prom King and Queen.
Tickets for each event are $150 per person and include dinner, one complimentary glass of Jungle Juice punch and a prom-themed photo. Guests can level-up their night by opting for an unlimited drink package for $70 per person. Those who want to really dress for the occasion can purchase a boutonniere and/or corsage for $75 per combo.
The series will kick off on Friday, July 28 with 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. seatings, and continue the last Friday of August and September. Click here to make your reservation.
