For the first time ever, an entire professional baseball stadium can be rented on Airbnb.
Pensacola Blue Wahoos Stadium in Florida, one of America’s premier minor league facilities, is currently offering overnight stays at its 5,100-seat ballpark, giving fans an intimate behind-the-scenes baseball experience like no other.
For $5,143 a night, guests get an inside scoop into a day-in-the-life of the pros with full access to the newly-renovated and fully-furnished clubhouse, a large bedroom, the batting cage and the field itself. With enough room to host a group of up to 10 people (or more for an extra fee), this ballpark-turned-Airbnb offers an unforgettable overnight trip perfect for youth league teams, corporate retreats, birthday bashes, bachelor parties and fans looking for the ultimate experience inside the stadium.
During their stay, guests get to enjoy all the amenities of Blue Wahoos Stadium’s spacious and newly-renovated clubhouse, which includes four leather couches, two flat-screen TVs, a ping pong table, padded chairs, two large tables and available bathrooms with showers.
Guests spend the night in the large bedroom connected directly to the clubhouse featuring four bunk beds and two queen-sized beds that allow ten to sleep comfortably. The room also includes two flat screen televisions and a kitchenette complete with a fridge, freezer, coffee-maker and microwave.
The field has a full batting practice set-up where guests can practice their swings, but is also available to guests to use however they please, whether that’s playing a few innings or just enjoying the Florida weather and bay views from the outfields. For the true athlete experience, Blue Wahoos Stadium’s batting tunnel is also open to guests, allowing them to hit just like the players do with bats, balls and helmets provided.
Upon their arrival, guests are given a full tour of the areas by a Blue Wahoos representative and a staff member is “on call” to provide assistance and security services throughout the guests’ stay.
