It’s no secret that Arizonans love to travel – especially when the summer temps get so hot we can’t even bear to step outside. If you’re already planning your getaways for spring break, summer break – heck, even a weekend break – check out Robb Report’s recently debuted list of the 50 most anticipated hotel openings of the year. We’ve highlighted the top 10:
Aman Rosa Alpina: Dolomites, Italy
Since opening in 1939 in the heart of the Dolomites, Rosa Alpina has remained a beloved fixture on the social scene. To elevate its luxury status, the Pizznini family partnered with Aman, enlisting their renowned designer Jean Michel Gathy – also behind the transformation of Aman New York in the Crown Building. The renovation focuses on spaciousness, reducing room numbers to just 50 to create more expansive accommodations.
Among them, the Chalet Zeno stands out: a secluded, 3,000-square-foot sanctuary for six. In winter, guests can access nearly 750 miles of ski slopes, while summer brings hiking, biking, and climbing across stunning mountain terrain.
Brenner’s Park Hotel & Spa: Baden Baden, Germany
Since the 1870s, Brenner’s Park has been a cornerstone of Baden-Baden’s spa culture, gaining international recognition for its medical wing, led by Dr. Harry König for the past decade. In 2025, the hotel will reopen following a comprehensive renovation that promises to revitalize the 105-room property. This historic property remains a favorite of the Oetker family, whose global luxury hotel empire began with this very purchase.
Britannic Explorer: United Kingdom
Belmond, known for its retro-glam sleeper trains, is expanding its collection with the Britannic Explorer, the first luxury sleeper train in England and Wales. Offering three distinct, three-night journeys from London, guests can choose to explore Cornwall’s rugged coast, the Lake District’s tranquil beauty, or Wales’s wild landscapes. Days are filled with curated excursions, while evenings are dedicated to socializing and sleeping aboard. Designed by London-based studio Albion Nord, the 18-cabin train will feature cuisine by Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan of L’Enclume.
Capella Kyoto: Kyoto, Japan
Capella Kyoto, a 92-room hotel designed by Kengo Kuma, is poised to become a landmark in the historic Miyagawa-chō district. Known for its traditional geishas and picturesque streets, this luxury retreat offers an authentic Japanese experience, including a courtyard garden designed for guests to practice ichigo-ichie. This concept encourages “treasuring fleeting moments.” The hotel’s design incorporates bamboo and Japanese maple, creating a serene atmosphere.
Casina Cinquepozzi: Puglia, Italy
Casina Cinquepozzi, a new boutique hotel in Puglia, is the result of a creative collaboration between jewelry designer Thelma West and former Apple executive Stefano Liotta. Set on 40 acres in Putignano, the 10-room property blends the couple’s diverse backgrounds with elements like Nigerian textile-inspired tiles and wicker lighting that offer a breezy, coastal Italian aesthetic. Guests can enjoy organic rosé from the regenerative vineyards, while an on-site artist residence flat will host chefs and other creatives.
Chancery Rosewood: London, UK
Once the American Embassy, the Chancery building on Mayfair’s Grosvenor Square is reimagined into a luxurious hotel by architect David Chipperfield. When it opens as Chancery Rosewood, the former embassy will house 144 rooms and eight bars and restaurants. Notable highlights include the European debut of Major Food Group’s Carbone and the revival of the beloved Le Caprice, a long-missed London institution, now with a new home. This transformation promises to bring a modern touch to a historic landmark.
Château de la Commaraine, Hotel Spa & Cuverie: Burgundy, France
Philanthropist Denise Dupré has spent over four years renovating a 10-acre estate in the heart of Burgundy. Built in 1112 as a fortified manor, the property boasts nearly a thousand years of history. With a lack of high-end accommodations in the area, Dupré is setting out to change that by transforming the estate into a 37-room hotel near Pommard, famous for its Pinot Noir. Among the updates is a bar housed in a 14th-century tower, alongside two new restaurants featuring the talents of award-winning chef Christophe Raoux.
Corinthia Bucharest: Bucharest, Romania
The Corinthia brand began as a luxury hotel in Attard, Malta, before expanding with a satellite property in central London. The Pisani family is ambitiously pursuing global growth, adding new locations worldwide while maintaining their signature attention to detail and world-class spa offerings. One of the most exciting developments is the Corinthia Bucharest. This 30-suite hotel is set to open in the former Grand Hotel du Boulevard.
Kazazian: Siwa, Egypt
Known for their sleek, modern, all-white boats, Kazazian is branching out from its high-end Nile cruise business by opening a 10-room hotel in the Siwa oasis in Egypt’s remote far west. Set on 620 acres, this property, scheduled to open late next year, will be located near the ruins of the Oracle of Amun. The hotel will be built with ancient white coral from the area’s seabed, making it one of Egypt’s most exclusive properties.
andBeyond Suyian Lodge: Laikipia, Kenya
Kenya’s Laikipia plateau remains one of the last untamed areas rich with wildlife, offering a more rugged safari experience than the more developed Mara region. Next summer, andBeyond will open a new 14-tent lodge on the 44,000-acre Suyian Conservancy, allowing guests to see rare species like Grévy’s zebra and reticulated giraffes. The lodge will also offer immersive experiences with communities, including the Samburu and Pokot pastoral tribes, and a chance to explore the diverse landscapes, from open savannah to dense acacia woodlands.
