Since debuting in May, the Food Truck Caravan has been one of Scottsdale’s favorite ways to enjoy eats from Phoenix’s wide variety of top-notch food trucks. Food Truck Caravan, which is held every Saturday night from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the northwest corner of 5th Ave. and Goldwater in Scottsdale, announces its September schedule of events. In addition to great eats, this month brings the launch of the “Caravan Collection” featuring hats, shirts, beach balls, cups, Canine Couture and more.
Saturday, Sept. 14: “Roses & Lace” – The trucks will serve a special “Ate on 5th” dish that is romantic in honor of the blooming of fall flowers such as roses and Queens Lace in September. Featured trucks: Grilled Cheese Truck, JAK Pizza, Luncha Libre, Jamburrittos, Great Balls and Sliders and Torched Goodness.
Saturday, Sept. 21: “Fall Fusion” –The trucks will serve a special “Ate on 5th” dish that is celebrates the ethnicity of the line-up. We’ll have everything from Mexican, Columbian, Dutch-Indonesian to Vietnamese food on the lot. Featured trucks: Grilled Cheese Truck, The Great Pho King Truck, Satay Hut, Luncha Libre, Cahr’s Kitchen and Torched Goodness.
Saturday, Sept. 28: “Will I see you in September?” – The trucks will serve a special “Ate on 5th” dish that has never been on their menu before. Featured trucks: Grilled Cheese Truck, Great Balls & Sliders, Spice It Up, Smitty’s Kitchen, JAK Pizza, Stickaberry and Torched Goodness.
