In honor of this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Ruffino Italian Restaurant in Ahwatukee has whipped up three tempting cocktail recipes that pay homage to our favorite music artists. From Thicke to Timberlake, check out these Grammy-inspired sips.
Twerk-tini: -In honor of Robin Thicke’s four nominations for “Blurred Lines.”
¾ oz Malibu Coconut Rum
¾ oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur
¾ oz Absolut Citron
Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish the glass with a twist of lemon and a sugar rim.
Roar-garita: Enjoy a Grammy twist on the classic margarita–add amaretto instead of triple sec–that will will make you “Roar” along with Katy Perry.
1 ½ oz tequila
¾ oz amaretto
Mix these ingredients along with one splash orange juice. Pour into the glass and top it off with a sweet and sour mix.
Suit & Tie-ini: An classy homage to Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie,” which is up for two nominations.
2 ½ oz Rain Organics Cucumber Lime Vodka
Muddle basil leaves with a simple syrup. Squeeze fresh lime into a tin and shake all ingredients together. Serve with a basil leaf garnish.
