Due to popular demand, Bryan’s Black Mountain Barbecue in Cave Creek has expanded his product line with the addition of jarred pickled jalapeños as well as his own private label beer. The wheat beer and amber ale are crafted by Oak Creek Brewing.
The Valley’s two Sandbar Mexican Grill locations are celebrating Shark Week, through August 17, with $4 Shark Bite Shots (made with blue Curacao and sprinkled with a few drops of blood-red grenadine), $5 Blue Water margaritas and specially priced shark beer all week long. Plus, catch all your favorite Shark Week programs on Sandbar’s extensive flat-screen TV collection throughout each restaurant.
August is National Sandwich Month, and Kelly’s at Southbridge is celebrating by creating a special new sandwich every week through the entire month of August. Each sandwich will be $12 with a side. Order the sandwich and enter to win a $100 gift card to Kelly’s (drawing at the end of the month).
Meritage Steakhouse at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort is offering a one-of-a-kind prix fixe Sunset Menu for just $35 from 5 to 6 p.m. daily. The dishes featured on the Sunset Menu include fresh-picked seasonal ingredients from the resort’s on site organic garden.
Sushi Roku’s Prequel to the Sequel dining package allows guests to feast and receive a wristband for easy access to six of Scottsdale’s hottest nightclubs. Every Friday and Saturday evening for $60 per person, guests will savor a multi-course Omakase dinner (menu changes daily and is based on the number of diners per table), plus a bottle of premium Azure Ginjo Sake. Take your wristband for VIP access to six nearby nightclubs.
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria rolled out the popular Diavolo Pizza this week. The classic pie is topped with soppressata salami, cherry peppers and kalamata olives. It made its debut in June, but it was so popular they had to bring back one more time.
