The Wigwam hosts the Bacon & Beer Festival 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25. The event will showcase craft beers from more than 30 breweries paired with a variety of bacon snacks, from bacon beer brats and bacon burger sliders to The Wigwam’s special bacon sundae. Admission is $30 in advance and $35 day-of and includes a sample glass for unlimited beverage samples. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Honey Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on making the world a better place by creating and nurturing a worldwide community of connected individuals who value and promote giving, compassion, and kindness. Bottled Blonde Pizzeria + Beer Garden and the Young Buckeyes Club of Phoenix will host a Buck Breast Cancer Block Party on Saturday, Oct. 25, during Ohio State University’s game against Penn State, in support of the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. The event features a block party, silent auction, a pink ribbon wall recognizing individuals who have been affected by breast cancer, and a team shop with custom designed OSU themed Buck Breast Cancer apparel. Event-goers can enjoy special Ohio-centric foods.
