True Food Kitchen has added four new dishes plus a refreshing cocktail to its menu. The new items are available now at both Valley locations. The new items include the sustainable seared scallops (pictured), the grapefruit mojito and the Moroccan chicken.
Bryan’s Black Mountain Barbecue in Cave Creek has expanded (1,000 more square feet) with the addition of Bryan’s Side Door. The grand opening is set for Friday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. At the event, the whole family will enjoy a performance from the barbershop quartet, High Priority, and guests will receive a sey to Bryan’s Side Door and have the chance to be entered into several drawings for prizes. The grand prize is dinner for two, once a month for a year. Other prizes include additional meals, drinks, hats, T-shirts and Bryan’s Signature products such as his barbecue sauce, jarred picked jalapeños and more.
Sprinkles is set to release its Maple Bacon cupcakes from Feb. 27 to March 19 . Thick, smoky bacon is baked to a crisp and woven into their Madagascar Bourbon vanilla cake. The cupcakes are then topped with rich, buttery maple cream cheese frosting.
Tilted Kilt is on the hunt for the best wing flavor. From now until April 19, people will get to pick their favorite sauce of the 14 available. Tilted Kilt has introduced eight new flavors for this limited time promotion and people can vote at tkwinghq.com. Not only will guests be rating their favorite wing sauces in the new lineup, they will also have the opportunity to share their best “Wingman” story via video submission. The Epic Wingman Moments video contest offers wingmen (and wingwomen) throughout the country a chance to win a legendary trip to Las Vegas for themselves and three others. On March 1, head to Mixology School by Robert Porter at The Second Story Liquor Bar. Guests will have the opportunity to learn from the master himself, as he teaches the class the core ideas behind creating an awesome drink. Each class will feature comprehension on history, ingredients and proper preparation techniques of the prevalent drinks. The class is $50; there will be two classes available every Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. With themes changing every week, guests can be sure that every class is a unique experience every single time.
