Flourish, an all new restaurant located on the grounds of the Audrey Hotel (formerly the Coppyerwynd) is set to open Nov. 6 in the mountains above Fountain Hills and North Scottsdale. Led by executive chef, Mike Winneker (Cowboy Ciao), Flourish will feature an ever-changing menu of farm-fresh, healthful yet crave-able eats served for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
On Thursday, Nov. 12, The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer’s hosts the Mas de Daumas Gassac Wine Event with Samuel Guibert. The event starts at 6 p.m.; $85 per person. Enjoy five wine-paired courses, plus an amuse bouche.
Dog Haus, the celebrated Los Angeles-based concept known for its gourmet hot dogs, sausages, burgers, and one-of-a-kind creations, opens its first Arizona location in Yuma on Friday, Nov. 6.
ZuZu is exploring a whole new dimension of food pairings with the Brew Master Dinner Series, featuring a different brewery each month. The Thursday, Nov. 12 dinner will pair craft beers from local Sonoran Brew Co. with hors d’oeuvre and a three-course seasonal menu. Enjoy conversation from renowned Chef Charles Wiley and the brew master at this fun and tasty event, which kicks off at 6 p.m. The cost is $42 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Stop in to TEXAZ Grill to enjoy all-you-can-eat TEXAZ Red Chili for $7.50 on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. TEXAZ Grill owner/chef Steve Freidkin will be serving as an official judge at the annual world championship chili cook-off in Texas for the 29th straight year on that same day.
The 5th Annual Peoria Beer Festival rolls into the Peoria Sports Complex, Saturday, Nov. 7, turning the vast sports arena into a field of dreams for beer lovers and for just about anybody else who loves food, fun and an evening of casual-dress festivities. At least a dozen food purveyors will cook up a bounty of cuisine choices from gourmet goodies to down-home grub. Event-goers can also enjoy live music. Proceeds will benefit charities, schools and organizations supported by the Peoria North Rotary Club and the Peoria Diamond Club. Ticket can be purchased at PeoriaBeerFestival.com.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Cowboy Ciao will host California vineyard owner/winemaker, Curt Schachlin, of Sans Liege & Groundwork wines in a battle of the bottles against owner/wino Peter Kasperski.
