Happy last day of National Grapefruit Month! To celebrate this glorious citrus, try out these three refreshing cocktails–featuring grapefruit, of course.
Alameda Aperitif
1 oz Hangar 1 Straight Vodka
1 oz Fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz Unti Rose
½ oz Bianco Vermouth
1 oz seltzer water
Build over ice in wine glass.
Salted Negroni
1.5 oz. Boodles Gin
0.75 oz. Sweet Vermouth
0.75 oz. Campari
1 oz. Grapefruit Juice
2 oz. Soda Water
Sea Salt
Quickly shake gin, vermouth, bitter liqueur, grapefruit juice and a small pinch of sea salt. Strain in Collins glass over ice and 2 oz soda water. Add another small pinch of sea salt and garnish with long grapefruit peel.
El Incendio
1.5 oz Santera Blanco Tequila
0.50 oz Campari
0.50 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
0.50 oz Fresh lemon Juice
0.75 oz Sage Simple Syrup
Dried sage, garnish
Combine ingredients except Campari in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Float Campari on top and garnish with a small bunch of dried sage.
