See you in the fall, stouts. Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery’s head brewer, Rob Rodriguez, has unveiled three new seasonal brews that are light, refreshing and the perfect way to get you through the summer heat.
On a recent visit, we sampled the Pollinator, a classic American wheat brew, was created by Rodriguez and brewed with 60 pounds of Dessert Blossom honey from local honey company Crockett Honey Co.; Dog Days, A German-style Dortmunder Lager with a delicate caramel malt character balanced by a light body and mild German noble hops; and Monarch, a classic Belgian-style white beer brewed with unmalted wheat, a touch of oats and then spiced with coriander and orange peel. Each brew was incredibly refreshing, had a clean, crisp finish and would be delicious enjoyed poolside or at a summer barbecue, especially the Pollinator, which was our favorite. Request a flight to sample all three for yourself.
In addition to enjoying the seasonals, we also dug into some of Two Brothers’ most popular eats. The large helping of chimichurri nachos is not for the faint of heart–but it surely is worth sacrificing your bikini bod to give them a try. Cheese, black beans, pico de gallo, chimichurri, sour cream, lettuce, roasted tomatillo salsa, tortilla chips and, the real star of the plate, Sidekick cheese sauce come together in a can’t-miss comfort-food appetizer. The beer-battered cheese curds (pictured) and the soft pretzels (pictured) with Cane and Ebel stone-ground mustard, which is tangy and delicious, and that amazing Sidekick beer cheese sauce on the side make for a very happy dining crowd and the perfect beer-pairing eats.
If you’re craving something a little more substantial, the Waffle BLT is out of this world. The ooey-gooey helping of American and Swiss cheese, bacon, tomato, arugula and pesto mayo is downright sinfully delicious. The combo of creamy cheese and smokey bacon make it the perfect entree for enjoying alongside the new summer brews.
