When dining out this month–from grabbing a dozen doughnuts to sipping on a margarita–consider popping by these Valley dining destinations to donate to a breast cancer cause.
If you happen visit Luci’s Healthy Marketplace or Luci’s at the Orchard this October, a purchase of any of these three items will benefit Singleton Moms: $2 from each of the Luci’s Pink Tumblers will be donated to Singleton Moms; $2 from each pink Luci’s T-shirt will be donated to Singleton Moms; and drink special: $1 from every Mrs. Arnie Palmer, fresh-brewed hibiscus tea plus local lemonade served hot or iced, will be donated.
Throughout October, SOL Cocina Scottsdale is offering special two ounce pours of the limited edition pink Clase Azul bottles of tequila for $20. People will also have the option of a $30 house and skinny or $15 rose margarita made with the Clase Azul bottle. All of the proceeds for these drinks will benefit Singleton Moms.
To bring awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fractured Prune is raising money for breast cancer one pink doughnut at a time. The breast cancer doughnut is a traditional cake doughnut with a honey glaze, topped with pink ribbon sprinkles. Include just one pink doughnut in your dozen, and Fractured Prune will donate five percent to breast cancer research through Oct. 31.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise awareness, Dominick’s Steakhouse at the Scottsdale Quarter is serving delicious Pink Ribbon oysters from Long Island. Twenty-five percent net revenue of every Pink Ribbon oyster purchased is donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to help find a cure.
