So you want to spend Thanksgiving at home–but you also want to avoid spending all day cooking? Call one of these Valley restaurants to arrange an easy, peasy Turkey Day feast to go.
The Market Restaurant + Bar by Jennifer’s offers curbside Thanksgiving catering (whole roasted turkey, artisan bread stuffing, herb whipped potatoes and much more are available), with pick-up times being Wednesday, from 2 to 6 p.m., and Thursday, from 9 to 11 a.m. Must call 602.579.5327 to order.
This Thanksgiving, order “Everything But the Bird” at Miracle Mile Deli. This deli offers traditional and yummy side orders to share with loved ones. Order by Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. to ensure an on time pick up the day before Thanksgiving. Dishes include whole pumpkin pie, homemade stuffing, rolls and more. Miracle Mile Deli will be closed on Thanksgiving day.
Pick up your order at Luci’s Healthy Marketplace or Luci’s at the Orchard for a home-cooked meal that’s sure to impress. (Cancellations must be made by Nov. 18. There will be no refunds after this date.) The “Complete Meal” serves six to eight people and includes 12- to 14-lb. turkey, gravy, cornbread stuffing and more.
Chompie’s is now taking pre-orders for whole oven-roasted turkeys, pies (apple, pumpkin or deluxe pies) or full-course meal packages. Whole turkey and large dinner packages must be ordered at least 72 hours in advance for pick up on Nov. 23 or 24. Chompie’s five Valley restaurants will be open Thanksgiving Day, not just for order pick-ups but also for dine-in service.
Chef Justin Beckett’s award-winning fig and pecan pies are available for pre-order for $28 from Beckett’s Table and Southern Rail from now until Sunday, Nov. 20.
For a special Turkey Day treat, serve up a box of Sprinkles Cupcakes’ unique fall flavors. The EAT box of orange cranberry, pumpkin, red velvet and dark chocolate cupcakes are adorned with Sprinkles turkey and maple leaf sugar decorations. Available Nov. 18-27.
True Food Kitchen’s squash pie, a vegan, gluten-free variation of the pumpkin pie, will be available for pick-up prior to Thanksgiving. Pre-orders are being taken now through Monday, Nov. 21; pies will be available for pick-up on Nov. 22 and 23 for $22.
Grassroots Kitchen & Tap in Scottsdale and Phoenix offers its award-winning pies to go including key lime, pumpkin and apple. Pies are $20 and can be reserved by calling 602.368.8766 (Phoenix) and 480.699.0699 (Scottsdale).
Wally’s American Gastropub in Scottsdale will sell its famous coconut cream pie for the holiday season. Pies are $20 and can be reserved by calling 480.596.7978.
