One of the Valley’s most luxurious addresses to sip, savor and celebrate might look a little different on your next visit as more than $1 million has gone into modernizing, updating and rejuvenating the historic Wrigley Mansion. And there’s more to come!
The first update guests will notice is a new, freshly paved driveway that leads up to the 1929 historic property. Once inside, guests will be cooled off by the new air-conditioning units and take in decorative vent covers and new paint, flooring and draperies.
Visitors will also notice a refreshed look with new furniture and carpeting in the bridal suite and a newly reorganized, welcoming entry area and foyer. The mansion’s Breakfast Room received new draperies, a new chandelier and revamped wood paneling on the walls. Also receiving a fresh facelift is Wrigley Mansion’s men’s and women’s bathrooms, with the women’s combination bathroom and powder room getting fresh new faucets, sinks, light fixtures, mirror frames, vanities, gold wallpaper and signage, among other enhancements. The men’s bathroom also features new faucets, sinks, light fixtures, signage, door handles and 1930’s art and accessories, according to the press release.
But the renovations won’t stop there. Once complete some time in 2018, the renovations will emphasize Spanish, California Monterey and Mediterranean styles while offering the modern amenities to its cherished guests.
