On Monday, October 16, Fox Restaurant Concepts is hosting the first-ever No Kid Hungry Dinner in Phoenix alongside some of the Valley’s top chefs at The Showcase Room in Culinary Dropout – The Yard Tempe. The goal of this first-ever dining event: to help end childhood hunger in America.
The three-course wine-paired menu will be prepared by Fox Restaurant Concept’s Chris Curtiss, as well as other local culinarians Aaron Chamberlin of St. Francis and Phoenix Public Market Cafe, Scott Holmes of Little Miss BBQ, Chris Newstrom of Upward Projects, Jason Raducha of Noble Bread & Noble Eatery, and Doug Robson of Gallo Blanco & Otro Café. The event is hosted by Sam Fox and will start at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour with small bites (followed by 7 p.m. dinner).
One-hundred percent of ticket sale proceeds will support vital Phoenix organizations including the Association of Arizona Food Banks. Sadly, there are more than 16 million children in America who cannot count on having enough nutritious food. In Arizona alone, one in four kids struggle with hunger.
