Huss Brewing Co. announced the first-ever LOCALIZED Craft Food & Beer event, pairing top local breweries and chefs with the finest fare from local boutique meat and fish purveyors. Hosted at Helio Basin Brewing Co. on Saturday, June 23, from 2 to 6 p.m., this event will feature four top local craft breweries pouring summer-ready beers. Plus, enjoy gourmet fare from four of the Valley’s best local chefs, all cooking up all-natural meats and sustainable seafood provided by four of the Valley’s best boutique meat and fish markets. No RSVP is required to attend the LOCALIZED Craft Food & Beer event, and prices start at just $20 for four tickets, which includes four tasting plates and four (5 oz.) beer samples. Or purchase seven tickets for $30, with all tickets available at the event.
True Food Kitchen (pictured on homepage) at Biltmore Fashion Park is celebrating summer with a specially-priced happy hour every Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 p.m. True Food Kitchen’s healthful happy hour menu features small bites and half salads, each for $5, including herb hummus and pita, small farmers market crudites, grass-fed steak or chicken taco, the Tuscan kale salad and and more. Five-dollar sips include a handcrafted seasonal cocktail and a select beer and wine list.
Tempe’s new favorite cocktail hideaway, Rafter Room, is opening on Friday, June 22, with live music and happy hour prices all weekend. The new concept is located in the renovated loft at Social Hall and will focus on rum and tequila-forward cocktails (pictured). It will be a prime location for live performances, presentations and special events.
Twin Peaks has made its Glendale debut at 6922 N. 95th Ave. in the Glendale Entertainment District. The 6,500-sq.-ft. sports oasis is the third Twin Peaks in the Phoenix area, third in Arizona and the 82nd system-wide.
Crudo in Phoenix is hosting a Tiki Thursday Takeover featuring guest mixologist Travis Nass. Swing by from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight, June 21, to savor modern versions of classic Tiki cocktails, like the bittersweet Navy Grog or the dangerously delicious Fog Cutter. Hosted inside Bar Crudo and outside on the tree-lined patio, pair your tropical tipple with Crudo chef/owner Cullen Campbell’s menu of exotic bar bites, including albacore poke and his take on the classic Hawaiian comfort food, the Loco Moco, a burger patty served on a bed of rice, smothered with brown gravy and topped with an over-easy egg.
Also taking place tonight, Kelly’s at Southbridge is turning six and hosting a White Party to celebrate. The festivities are on Thursday, June 21, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. The party will feature live music by Steve Ayotte and DJ Role Model starting at 9 p.m., complimentary drinks and appetizers will be served. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their most iconic whites and toast to another fun run around the sun.
To celebrate National Orange Blossom Day, DeSoto Central Market and Huss Brewing will host the Orange Blossom Fest on Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at DeSoto. Orange Blossom along with other Huss favorites will be on tap, as well as delicious Orange Blossom-inspired food and craft cocktails.
Match Restaurant and Lounge at FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel has announced its new summer counter breakfast service and lunch menu, featuring fresh and delicious items for the season. Dishes include build-your-own omelet, avocado toast, breakfast tortilla wrap, pastrami ruben sandwich and much more.
Pita Jungle Arrowhead (Glendale) is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this month and is inviting the public to celebrate on Wednesday, June 27, for some free hummus and drink specials. From open to close, guests will receive a free small dip (any hummus flavor, tzatziki, garlic dip or baba ganoosh) per table while enjoyed beer, wine and cocktails for $3. Everyone who dines at Pita Jungle Arrowhead on that day will be entered to win a $50 gift card to Pita Jungle.
