With record high temps this summer, Arizonans are looking to beat the heat with some classic cold ice cream. From vanilla to chocolate, there are loads of flavors to choose from, but which flavors are satisfying Arizonans?
To find out what ice cream flavors are most popular in Arizona, Betarizona.com used data from YouGov’s research on the top 11 most popular ice cream flavors and Google Trends. BetArizona.com analyzed the trends over the last 12 months to calculate which five flavors were the most popular throughout the whole state.
Arizona’s top five ice cream flavors were vanilla, chocolate, and cookies and cream, with strawberry and mint chocolate chip tied. Other popular flavors included butter pecan, chocolate chip cookie dough and pistachio.
Similar to YouGov’s national poll, Arizona’s top flavors were vanilla and chocolate. Strawberry as well as cookies and cream were also highly ranked.
Arizona is not lacking in the amount of ice cream shops to get your fix to cool down and beat the heat, including local-favorite ice cream parlors like Sweet Republic, Churn, The Screamery, Sugar Bowl, Melt, Hub Restaurant & Ice Creamery, Mary Coyle Ol’ Fashion Ice Cream and Udder Delights.
