Deals Across the Desert for National Tequila Day

Whether you prefer it straight-up, frozen, or in a mixed drink, tequila fans can celebrate National Tequila Day on Wednesday, July 24, at participating restaurants and bars across the Valley. Treat your taste buds to a world of flavors, from frozen specialties to margarita flights, paired with fun bar treats and signature dishes. Below are a few spots ready to get the party started!

Terra Tempe at Westin Tempe (11 E. Seventh St.) will feature a build-your-own spiked snow cone bar from 4-6 p.m. Jaja Tequila mixologists will be on-site showcasing their flavorful tequila snow cone concoctions. 

With over a dozen margaritas and tequila-based cocktails, Z’Tejas (8300 Hayden Road, Scottsdale) is excited to celebrate National Tequila Day! From 3-6 p.m., grab $6 house margaritas and $2 off all other margaritas, plus discounts on wine and beer. Guests can also snack on the famous salsa trio, shrimp tostada bites, catfish beignets, gringo tacos and more.

Twin Peaks (2135 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix) is offering deals for guests 21 and up, including a $6 house margarita, a $10 Corazon tequila sunrise, a $10 Casamigos Pool Party Margarita, a $15 Casamigos Añejo Old Fashioned, and a $25 Cincoro Hall of Fame Margarita.

Hamburguesas Y Cervezas (888 N. 1st Ave., Phoenix) offers a variety of margaritas, such as the prickly pear, pineapple serrano, and watermelon, all crafted with 3 Amigos Blanco tequila. Top your drink with salt, sugar, or a sweet and spicy Tajin rim. Enjoy special pricing Monday through Friday from 2-6 p.m. 

Macayo’s restaurants across the Valley will be offering beeritas – a margarita on the rocks or frozen with a Dos XX – and margarita flights with a choice of flavors: house, apple, mango, peach, prickly pear, raspberry, strawberry and wild berry, at $7 each. Specials are available for dine-in guests only. 

Located in Ice Den Scottsdale, 18 Degrees (9375 E. Bell Road)will offer $5 classic margaritas from 12 p.m.-12 a.m. 18 Degrees also offers a nonalcoholic option with Juicy Oasis milkshakes in flavors like pineapple, strawberry, and vanilla and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. For the rest of July, guests who purchase any two burgers on the menu will receive a FREE Juicy Oasis shake to share.

Joyride Tacos (5202 N. Central Ave. or 302 N. Gilbert Road) invites guests to celebrate National Tequila Day during Happy Hour, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sip on $6 margaritas, Ranch Waters, draft pitchers and vinos. Stay cool with Joyride’s first-ever frozen margarita, the Tropic Chill, a blend of 400 Conejos Mezcal, pineapple amaro, guava and ginger. Snack on the T.O.D (taco of the day), Cactus and Crinkle fries, tuna tostada, chilaquiles-style nachitos and shrimp ceviche. 

Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen (50 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix or 21001 N. Tatum Blvd., Phoenix) is raising a glass to tequila with a lineup of spectacular specials, including $10 Patron margaritas, $5 Altos tequila shots and $10 nachos available all day. 

Kona Grill’s (21001 N. Tatum Blvd., Phoenix) ‘Margarita Heaven’ menu features a selection of bevvies crafted with premium ingredients. Enjoy the refreshing Watermelon Margarita, the Skinny Margarita or the Margarita Flight with three frozen flavors. The menu includes the classic Kona Margarita – only $6 during Happy Hour.

Los Sombreros (1976 W. Southern Ave., Mesa or 2534 N. Scottsdale Road) will offer $8 premium margaritas and 25 percent off all sipping tequilas, which guests can pair with a variety of items on their new seasonal menu: fajitas, seafood tacos, or the watermelon salad. 

The Mexicano (4801 E. Cactus Road, Scottsdale) will throw the ultimate party as Chef Joey invites guests to sip $5 Classico Margaritas in the bar from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Keep the fun going with several interactive dining experiences, including a build-your-own-margarita bar with over 30 craft toppings and bar bites like the Instagram-worthy guac and salsa ferris wheel.

Diego Pops (4338 N. Scottsdale Road) has your celebration covered, with notable savings during Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m. Guests can enjoy half-off appetizers like street corn queso, family-sized brussel sprout nachos and grilled street corn. The star of the show is the Diego Margarita, shaken with 1800 Blanco tequila, triple sec and a house-made sweet and sour for $6.
