Thanksgiving 2024: Dining Around the Valley

Arizona resorts and restaurants are serving holiday favorites that will help take some stress away from the festivities, whether families plan to dine in or take out. Here are just a few eateries in the Valley and beyond that are offering options for families big and small:  

The Boulders Resort

The Palo Verde Restaurant at the Boulders is prepared for in-person or to-go holiday dining. During the four-course meal, guests can choose salad, soup, and entrée. Choices include garden herb-brined turkey, butter-basted prime beef tenderloin, sustainable steelhead trout, and desserts like brown sugar pot de crème or apple cider mousse. Price: $108 per person, with vegetarian options available.

Terra Tempe

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Terra Tempe will offer an elevated Thanksgiving buffet-style brunch with carved prime rib, turkey, oysters, and claw crabs. The feast will also include fresh salads and seafood, as well as holiday favorites like turkey and prime rib from the carving station. Breakfast items like eggs benedict will also change the game for Thanksgiving foods and make Terra Tempe a memorable holiday meal. Price: $85 for adults, $40 for kids.

Hearth ‘61 at Mountain Shadows

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 28, Hearth ‘61 will offer a Thanksgiving dinner special for dining in or taking home. Dine-in includes a choice between six starts, a choice of entree between the Thanksgiving feature, Duroc Farm’s tomahawk pork chop, Niman Ranch prime tenderloin of beef, prime New York strip, ricotta tortellini or pan-seared Atlantic salmon, and dessert. Price: $149 per person. The to-go menu will offer classic dishes with an optional pumpkin pie or butterscotch pecan pie for an additional cost. To-go orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on November 26; price: $59 for adults, $32 for 12 and under.

ZuZu Restaurant

To-go orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on November 22 with prices increasing after November 16. Take-home meals include whole (cooked or uncooked) and half turkeys, sides and sweets for eight to 10 people. Dine-in options at ZuZu include a starter buffet followed by entrees and dessert that are priced by selection: apple brined turkey + all the fixings, 8 oz. barrel-cut filet, roasted pork shank, pan-seared scallops or farro risotto.

The Global Ambassador

The Global Ambassador has two restaurants gearing up to serve Thanksgiving feasts. At Le Âme from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., guests can enjoy the Thanksgiving Prix Fixe Menu for $150+ per person. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Théa, guests can indulge in a cold station buffet for starters, select a main and order dessert for $125+ per person from the Thanksgiving day menu. On the Thanksgiving dinner menu, served from 4 to 9 p.m., each item will be priced individually with options like sushi, Turkish meatballs, Greek salad, king salmon and more.

The Market by Jennifer’s

The Market By Jennifer’s is helping families dig in at home with a to-go menu and curbside catering on Thanksgiving Day. Ideal for eight to 10-person gatherings, the menu has individually priced sides, turkey options, and dessert selections with easy-to-follow heating instructions to make each meal perfect for dinner. Orders must be placed by November 24 and picked up on Thanksgiving Eve or Day.

Uchi

Uchi welcomes guests to celebrate Japanese Thanksgiving by picking up its special menu on November 23 from 4 to 11 p.m. The $175 meal includes a wedge salad – Ume Boshi Boquerone Caesar, Sprouts, Nigiri 2x2x2, Makimono – Sake Karai, Sweet Potato – Negi, Nori, Creme Fraiche, Pork Belly, Teres Major – Maitake Mushroom, a5 hollandaise and a dessert.

Omni Scottsdale Resort

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a gourmet four-course menu at Prado from 1 to 8 p.m., featuring dishes like wild mushroom bisque, oven-roasted turkey, and pumpkin truffle risotto. For an additional $55, you can enhance your meal with optional wine pairings. Reservations are required, and pricing is $125 per person. Children 5 and under are complimentary.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain

Thanksgiving Brunch takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers pastries, eggs benedict and omelets, seafood, caviar and charcuterie. Options include roast turkey roulade, porchetta with truffle whipped mashed potatoes, cedar plank steelhead trout, and pepper-crusted roast striploin of beef. Price is $155 for adults, $75 for children. Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and include six elegant CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar courses featuring dishes inspired by the local Sonoran Desert. Highlights include duck confit stuffed quail, pumpkin and spiced apple bisque, and entrée selections, including roasted turkey with traditional sides or buffalo tenderloin.

Arizona Biltmore

  • Gold Room Brunch: In the hotel’s historic dining room, guests can dive into an elegant buffet-style meal enjoyed by all ages. Guests 21+ will be greeted with a complimentary drink while checking in for the meal. The holiday will be celebrated with live music, curated cocktails, football viewing and lawn games. Reservations are required. 
  • Renata’s Hearth Latin-Inspired Dinner: This menu is offered from 5 to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving and feature items such as pulled turkey from Renata’s outdoor smoke pit, wagyu tartare, and lamb ossobuco. Reservations are recommended.
  • McArthur’s Restaurant & Bar: This family-friendly space welcomes guests from 5 to 10 p.m. to partake in a holiday meal with mesquite-smoked 12 oz. prime rib and garlic and herb-roasted turkey breast, along with sides such as country stuffing, honey-glazed heirloom carrots, and house-made cranberry sauce.

Chula Seafood

Chula’s three locations are here to ease the pressure of hosting with bundles of sides ready to heat or arrange and serve. “Everything but the Turkey” packages vary between locations, with items like clam stuffing, shrimp louie salad, crab potato gratin, candied yams, and more. Preorders must be completed by November 24, and pickup starts on November 27 after 11 a.m. Bundles start at $150.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill is offering a variety of turkey options for dine in. Choose from a macadamia nut turkey for $38, a traditional roasted turkey for $35, or a kids roasted turkey for $16. Guests can pre-order dinner for two for pickup or delivery. Choices include macadamia nut turkey for $76, Traditional Roasted Turkey for $75, and individual servings or kids roasted turkey for $16. The restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Fat Ox

Chef Carter crafted a Thanksgiving menu that includes pasta ravioli filled with smoked pumpkin ricotta, apple pecan gremolata, fennel giardiniera and brown butter. The feature entree is a 14 oz. Linz Prime New York strip with bone marrow bordelaise, tallow-whipped potatoes, vacche rossa and charred heirloom carrots. Dessert is a caramel apple panna cotta with cranberry sorbetto, honey torta di olio, and apple conserva. The restaurant will be open from 3 to 8 p.m. on November 28. Reservations required.

Match Market & Bar

On November 28, Match Market & Bar will have two seatings – 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. – for Thanksgiving. At $69 per person, the dinner will start with a farmer’s market cornucopia for the table with the chef’s selection of market crudité, cured meats, preserved fruits and vegetables. Entree choices are roasted acorn squash or herb-crusted turkey breast served with green bean almondine, mashed potatoes, sage stuffing, brown gravy and a dinner roll. Desserts include a pumpkin-tahini mousse pie or apple cider whoopie cookie.

STK

STK offers Thanksgiving feasts from November 29 to December 1. Meals feature roasted free-range turkey, with the choice of adding an STK signature side for $19 or a pumpkin pie for $64. Pre-orders are available starting November 14. STK will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Price: $64 per adult and $29 for children under 12. Takeout for two is $124.  

Hash Kitchen

In November, Hash Kitchen will be fall-ifying its menu for Thanksgiving. The smoked turkey leg hash is complete with mashed potatoes, demi-glace, two poached eggs and fried leeks at all locations. Guests can also check out fall specials like apple cinnamon waffles and pumpkin spice pancakes. Hash Kitchen will be open on Thanksgiving from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Urban Agave

The tamale plate includes two tamales plus rice and beans for $18. For those looking to feed the family at home, patrons can also pick up a package of six tamales for $25. Urban Agave will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, so orders must be placed and picked up before.

Full Speed Chicken and Ribs and Little Miss BBQ

At Full Speed, guests can purchase a whole turkey for $65 and the Thanksgiving Side Bundle for $175. Pre-orders can be made online with pick-up on November 28 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Little Miss BBQ has equally special options at the University and Sunnyslope locations with a whole turkey breast for $65, a large whole brisket for $175, the Thanksgiving Side Bundle for $175 and more. Pick-up is available on November 28 between 9 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

The Phoenician Tavern and J&G Steakhouse

On November 28, The Phoenician is offering an elaborate brunch buffet, an elevated dinner buffet, a prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner and steakhouse classics. J&G Steakhouse will hold a buffet for $175 for adults and $90 for children ages 3 to 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch menu will have Thanksgiving and breakfast classics as well as a seafood and raw bar. Dinner happens from 5:30 to 9 p.m. with a prix fixe Thanksgiving steakhouse menu for $72 per person. The Phoenician Tavern will be open on Thanksgiving from 4 to 8 p.m. and offer a decadent dinner buffet with a special holiday flare for $87 for adults and $45 for kids ages 3 to 12.

Mastro’s

Mastro’s signature sides from Mastro’s City Hall, Mastro’s Ocean Club and Mastro’s Steakhouse can take pressure off a Thanksgiving feast. These include garlic mashed potatoes, green beans with sliced almonds, creamed corn and creamed spinach – each available for $62. Side orders can be placed until November 26 with pickup on Thanksgiving Eve from 5 to 9 p.m. or on Thanksgiving Day from 1 to 9 p.m. Mastro’s will be open for dinner from 1 to 9 p.m.

The Adobe Bar & Grille

On Thanksgiving Eve enjoy cooking and cocktails with friends at Adobe Bar & Grille. The restaurant will have acoustic music on the lawn from 3 to 6 p.m. There will be a late-night happy hour with exclusive deals on craft beers, wine and small bites.

Ling & Louie’s

Ling and Louie’s offers a variety of Asian-inspired side dishes for takeout until November 23. The restaurant will offer creative takes on classics and brand-new dishes to ease the stress of the holiday. The menu includes Uncle Fu’s Fried Rice, Korean cauliflower, working hot Brussels sprouts, Szechuan green beans, and loaded mashed potatoes. Each side feeds five to ten guests, and prices vary based on dish. Pick-up happens on November 27.

The Italiano

Transform Thanksgiving into a trip to Italy with items like turkey osso buco, pappardelle, and chicken parm meatballs and The Americano with hand-carved roasted turkey breast, Tuscan stuffing, roasted potatoes, escarole, and demi. The Italiano will be open on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will also offer its regular menu from Chef Joey.

Eat Up Drive In

Arcadia’s Eat Up Drive In has Thanksgiving-inspired home-style meals cooked slow and served fast. Turkey specials include the turkey dinner plate with three slices, stuffing, cranberry sauce and potato gratin or the turkey dinner sandwich stacked with shredded turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy on a baguette. Eat Up Drive In will be closed on Thanksgiving.

EAT by Stacey Weber

This ready-to-serve, family-sized Thanksgiving menu for four offers numerous gluten-free and dairy-free options. Pre-orders will be available until November 21 at 8 a.m. and will be ready for pick up on November 27 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Appetizers, sides, turkey and dessert will be priced individually. Among the Thanksgiving menu are 10 gluten-free options, six dairy-free options, and five vegan options.

JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge

Tía Carmen and Kembara by Chef Angelo Sosa will host a Grand Thanksgiving Brunch. The meal will boast harvest favorites and menu favorites from JW Marriott Scottsdale’s two signature restaurants. The buffet will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 28. Price: $169 per adult and $49 per child aged 5-12.

JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn

At Rita’s Cantina & Bar and Lincoln Steakhouse & Bar, guests can find culinary highlights like multiple carving stations, a raw seafood bar, a caviar station and traditional brunch favorites. Rita’s Cantina & Bar will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a Thanksgiving brunch with bottomless mimosas. The restaurant will also be open from 5 to 10 p.m. for a savory turkey dinner special, a prime rib special, or the classic Rita’s Cantina menu. Lincoln Steakhouse & Bar will host a Thanksgiving dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. with the choice between a turkey dinner special or the traditional Lincoln dinner menu.

The Westin La Paloma

Down in the heart of Tucson, guests can find a Thanksgiving buffet in the stunning Santa Catalina Mountains. The Thanksgiving feast from 12 to 5 p.m. features traditional holiday dishes available alongside unconventional dishes like bolognese, day boat scallops and shrimp ceviche.

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain

The Tukey To Go dinner will serve four people with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, gravy, cranberries and pumpkin pie. Guests can enjoy live music and festive cocktails at the resort’s Jade Bar. For patrons wanting to dine in, elements will offer an amuse, bread course, first course, second course and dessert for $170 per adult and $55 for children under 12.
