Fox Restaurant Concepts is redefining the dining scene with the opening of Blanco Reserva, a sophisticated twist on the well-known Cocina + Cantina. Located at 12750 N. Tatum Blvd., this new iteration brings a refined touch to the brand’s celebrated combination of tacos, tequila, and good times.
Blanco Reserva will join the $2 billion transformation of the former Paradise Valley Mall, offering a sophisticated twist on the Sonoran-inspired flavors Blanco is known for.
“The opening of Blanco Reserva marks an exciting milestone for Blanco, bringing a fresh and dynamic new energy to complement the mall redevelopment,” Founder Sam Fox said.
The restaurant draws inspiration from Spanish rancho’s warm, communal spirit, known for its open-air gatherings and glowing lanterns. Every detail is designed to celebrate connection and community, from standout dishes and beautifully crafted margaritas to the redesigned interior and patio.
“Blanco Reserva takes everything you love about Blanco and dials it up a notch,” Fox said.
The menu builds on classic offerings, such as house-made corn tortillas and slow-braised meats, while introducing indulgent new dishes. Highlights include the lobster & shrimp fideo, a decadent blend of toasted angel hair, roasted garlic adobo, and Morita chile butter; fillet mignon and garlic prawns with ancho steak sauce; and sangria braised short rib, served with squash mole and pomegranate.
Taco and fajita fans will still find their favorite options, such as tiger shrimp fajitas with spicy garlic butter and the short rib machaca chimichanga.
“We wanted to stay true to Blanco’s roots while introducing bold, elevated flavors,” Fox said.
No meal at Blanco is complete without signature cocktails, and the Reserva’s expanded bar program promises to impress. Inspired by FRC’s Pushing Daisies – an underground margarita bar in Nashville – the cocktail menu features creations like the Pushing Daisies, a blend of Don Julio Silver, pulped peaches, and smoked summer salt. The Mango Stand features Maestro Dobel Diamante reposado, spicy salt, and chamoy.
The ambiance is equally noteworthy. Reserva’s interior channels a modern take on a Mexican hacienda, with deep red tones, walnut wood accents, and handmade-look tiles. A custom three-part chandelier and moody lighting add to the intimate interior.
Blanco Reserva is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m. Guests can enjoy Happy Hour Monday through Friday. With its new look and elevated menu, the restaurant plans to become a standout addition to PV’s revitalized community. Fox teased a New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu exclusive to Blanco Reserva. “It’s going to be a celebration you won’t want to miss,” he said.
