Postino Is Coming to the West Valley In January

Postino WineCafé will host the grand opening of its latest location at The Park at 83 on January 4, bringing its signature blend of delicious food, exceptional wine, and warm hospitality to the West Valley for the first time.

Postino Peoria’s launch celebration will include limited-edition restaurant swag, take-home treats, and entertainment. The first 100 parties will receive a branded trucker hat and a custom cookie from Trujillo’s Treats on opening day and get their photo taken at the PARC Photobooth pop-up next to the patio.

Offering an ever-changing selection of boutique wines, cocktails and craft brews paired with a menu of bruschetta, panini, salads, charcuterie boards and shareables, the Postino team is dreaming up a one-of-a-kind kicked-back space served up with a sophisticated twist. The eatery will join the vibrant neighborhood known as P83 and will be housed adjacent to the Peoria Sports Complex, Spring Training home to the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Postino to the incredible Peoria community and to join the vibrant energy of The Park at 83,” CEO and founder of Upward Projects Lauren Bailey said. “This is a milestone moment for us, and it feels like a homecoming of sorts, as the Valley has always been the heart and soul of our story.”

Each location is thoughtfully designed to reflect the community and the building’s history, featuring unique art walls as central design elements. At Peoria, the art comprises 5,500 individual 1970s and 1980s vintage baseball cards in tribute to the Peoria Sports Complex, a feat that required a three-day install. The interior decor showcases collaborations with vintage shops Modern Manor, Soda Pop, Red Modern, Eyeopener, and Modern on Melrose, including photo tributes to the music festivals that existed back in the early 2000s.

Postino has partnered with Peoria Diamond Club, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children in their communities reach their full potential by supporting organizations that meet their fundamental needs. Throughout January, Postino Peoria will donate $1 from each bruschetta board sold to the Peoria Diamond Club. Additionally, the nonprofit will be on-site on January 25 at 11 a.m., when guests can get in the spirit with themed activities, yard games, and more.

Postino’s menu changes seasonally but always includes bruschetta, charcuterie boards, soups, salads, and paninis. The menu features “Snacky Things,” a shareable plate of crispy cauliflower, butter-poached shrimp scampi, and sweet potato wedges. Bruschetta offerings include brie & apple with fig spread, smoked salmon with pesto, sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese, and more. Other guest favorites include the Brussels Sprouts Salad, the Nine Iron Panini, and The Greek Hummus Board.

Postino serves boutique wines handpicked by VP of Beverage and advanced sommelier Brent Karlicek from all over the world, including more than 30 varietals by the glass and exclusive winemaker collabs – along with Arizona beers on tap from Huss Brewing Co., The Shop, Four Peaks, Mother Road and more.

At the new location will be an expanded bar program, which features for the first time an exciting lineup of classic cocktails, including a Prickly Pear Mezcal Margarita, Smoked Old Fashioned, and Espresso Martini, along with Wine Cult, a subscription-based wine club created by the Postino team that launches curated boxes of wine every quarter.
