Just like a favorite coffee shop or pizza delivery, it is important to have a tasty burger nearby when the craving strikes. Thankfully, Habit Burger Grill is opening its second Valley location in Chandler on Wednesday. With a location already thriving in Tempe, now those in other parts of the Valley have a Habit to call their own. (Habit Burger has more than 40 locations throughout California; the Tempe outpost was Habit’s first venture outside of the state.) “We are very excited to open our second location in the Greater Phoenix area. With the success of our first location in Tempe we are optimistic that our new Chandler location will be a big hit with East Valley locals as well,” says Russ Bendel, President and CEO of Habit Restaurants, LLC. Habit’s third Arizona location will open in Central Phoenix later this summer.
Though the Chandler location doesn’t officially open until Wednesday, burger enthusiasts have a chance to check out the Habit a bit early–and for a good cause. On Sunday (July 17), The Habit will be open for lunch (from 12-2 p.m.) and dinner (from 5-7 p.m.) and will donate 100 percent of all proceeds of all menu items to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and MDA of Arizona (respectively). On Monday (July 18), the restaurant will be open for lunch (from 12 – 2 p.m.) with all proceeds benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley.
The Habit is best known for their made-to-order “Charburgers” grilled over an open flame and wallet-friendly prices. The Habit also serves freshly grilled sandwiches, specialty salads tossed to order, onion rings, sweet potato fries and a variety of hand-blended shakes and malts. http://www.habitburger.com/.
