Even those who have to eat lunch on the run want something a little more delicious and satisfying than a fast food cheeseburger or greasy fries. Valley steakhouse, The Capital Grille has unveiled a genius new fall “plates” menu that allows diners three mouthwatering courses and promises to have diners in and out in a mere 45 minutes–plenty of time to get you back to the office.
The fall plates menu features three soups/salads, three sandwiches and three sides, including “Knife and Fork” BLT, creamy Porcini Bisque and Roasted Butternut Squash with Cranberry Chutney. Diners have the choice of one item from each category. The porcini soup is an excellent starter and perfect for our cooled-down weather. It is utterly creamy with satisfying bits of mushroom. Bacon lovers will adore the “Knife and Fork” BLT sandwich–named so because you need utensils to enjoy this massive sandwich. (You might even have leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.) The lobster roll is another deletable sandwich option. It is chock-full of flavorful lobster in a tempting, buttery bun. For side items, nice and naughty options are available–all are delicious. The seasonal veggie offering, which was most recently The Capital Grille’s infamous creamed corn, is divine, as are the truffle fries. A great option for the fall season is the butternut squash with cranberry chutney.
Perhaps the best part of The Capital Grille’s new plates menu is that it rings it at just $15 for all three courses. The Capital Grille fall plates menu is available at both Valley locations, in Phoenix and in Scottsdale. http://www.thecapitalgrille.com/.
