Staying in town this coming Labor Day weekend? Well, one of the Valley’s more foremost culinary festivals–for a great cause, to boot–with keep you from getting too jealous of your San Diego-bound pals. The 8th Annual Phoenix Cooks! takes place Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale.
More than 3,000 Valley foodies are expected at this always-fun annual culinary event. Guests are invited to enjoy food and drink samples from more than 50 of the best local chefs and restaurants, including T.Cook’s at The Royal Palms, Prado at the Montelucia, Sushi Roku at W Scottsdale, Mastro’s, Orange Sky at Talking Stick, The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix, Different Pointe of View, Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch, Sassi, The Mission, deseo at the Westin Kierland and many more. Thirsty? More than 30 wine, beer and mixology sampling booths will be at Phoenix Cooks! The Scottsdale culinary festival offers education alongside all that eating as cooking class will be available, as well as feasting your eyes on duels between chefs on four action-packed cooking stages. Best of all, ticket proceeds from Phoenix Cooks! benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
