Sweet Republic Celebrates Grand Opening of Fourth Location

Sweet Republic, a beloved ice cream company known for its innovative and handcrafted flavors, officially opened its fourth location in South Scottsdale on March 22.

The new shop, located at the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Second Street, marked a significant milestone, as it’s been delighting customers with its artisan frozen treats for over 16 years.

Founded in 2008 by Jan Wichayanuparp and Helen Yung, Sweet Republic quickly became known for its unique approach to ice cream, with a commitment to using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients from purveyors like McClendon’s Select and Cortez Coffee.

Sweet Republic has earned national recognition and has been featured on the Food Network and in publications like Bon Appétit, Time Magazine, and USA Today, which have named it among the best in the U.S.

The Old Town Scottsdale shop adds to Sweet Republic’s growing presence in the Valley, joining existing locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe.

Customers can find various flavors on the menu, from familiar favorites like Brownie Fudge Swirl and Salted Butter Caramel to unique options such as Dairy-Free Mango Sticky Rice and Dill Pickle.
