The Borgota of Scottsdale to be Converted Into Condominiums

Plans have advanced for a residential living space to replace the classic Borgata shopping center.

On June 26, the Scottsdale Planning Commission unanimously approved rezoning plans for the Residences at the Borgata to overtake the 32-year-old shopping center that resembles the Tuscan village of San Gimignano.

Developers at the Scottsdale-based AV Homes Inc. have designed the $50 million condominium complex that will be marketed for adults over 55 years old. Four-story buildings will house 218 units on 4.77 acres of the 6.85-acre site, with some commercial space still remaining.
