Take your Instagram skills to a whole new level. Named after the year Kodak launched the first box and roll camera, the 1888 Hotel in Sydney, Australia is the place for travelers who Instagram it all.
A revolving digital mural of Instagram images greets guests as they walk through the hotel lobby, while a designated selfie space to the corner waves any embarrassment of snapping the perfect selfie and applying a flattering filter as you check in (literally and, maybe, virtually).

And it doesn’t stop there. More than 100 Instagram photos submitted by guests decorate the five-story 1888 Hotel’s 90 rooms, which start around $140.
While you’re there, take the chance to submit your own Instagram photo of the hotel to compete for a free night’s stay (make sure your photo engagement and composition is in check). Meanwhile, those Instagrammers who have more than 10,000 followers are instantly awarded an additional complimentary night’s stay.

This isn’t the first social media-themed hotel. Sol Wave House in Majorca, Spain is dedicated to Twitter as the “first Twitter experience hotel” with appropriately themed rooms, drinks and a virtual community that goes by #SocialWave.
