Arizona will welcome an all-new entertainment and event destination this fall in Chandler and Glendale. Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, named after the renowned Andretti racing family, promises exhilarating attractions, delectable cuisine and exceptional event spaces.
Spanning an impressive 96,000 square feet, the center will house a multitude of thrilling experiences. Among the featured attractions will be high-speed electric superkarts racing on a multi-level track, a state-of-the-art arcade, virtual reality experiences, racing simulators, a two-story laser tag arena, duckpin bowling and a 7D “Xperience” motion theater.
“Inside the building, we house bowling, video games, laser tag, virtual reality attractions and, of course, our go-karts for our three-level go-kart tracks,” Eddie Hamann, managing member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, tells ABC15. “And then we built within the structure about six to ten thousand square feet of meeting space for corporate events, birthday parties, quinceñeras, wedding receptions, pretty much anything.”
A standout feature of the establishment will be its full restaurant, serving up homemade Arizona favorites, like mouthwatering brick-oven pizzas and slow-smoked classics. To complement the delectable menu, the venue will boast a full-service bar offering local craft beer selections, as well as specialty cocktails.
While both the Glendale and Chandler locations will have three-level racing tracks, there are some slight differences that make each visit to Andretti Indoor Karting & Games unique. “The tracks that you’ll find in Glendale will be different from the tracks that you’ll find in Chandler and some of the virtual-related attractions will be a little different,” says Hamann. “But the other components like bowling, video games and obviously our menu and some of the other offerings will be pretty much the same.” Each of the tracks can be converted into one large track to accommodate special events and reservations.
The Chandler space will be located at 1712 S. Cooper Road, while the Glendale facility is expected to be near 99th and Glendale Avenues in the city’s entertainment district.
Both locations are set to open in November 2023. Visit www.andrettikarting.com for more information.
