Top Trumps USA, the American division of Winning Moves International, has exciting news for board game enthusiasts and Arizonans alike. The company has announced plans for a Tucson edition of MONOPOLY.
MONOPOLY: Tucson Edition will celebrate the city’s rich history by featuring businesses, nonprofits and destinations found exclusively in this part of Arizona.
“Tucson encompasses the best of what the desert has to offer, from scenic hikes to bustling nightlife to Old West history,” says Jennifer Tripsea of Top Trumps USA.
Under license from Hasbro, the Tucson edition of the game follows the company’s release of a Scottsdale-themed MONOPOLY. Like its Scottsdale counterpart, the game will replace the original Atlantic City squares with local landmarks and visuals. This exciting twist will transport players into the heart of Tucson’s rich culture and heritage.
But, the Tucson edition of MONOPOLY goes beyond aesthetics. It pays homage to “The Old Pueblo” with features like a customized Community Chest, Chance playing cards and money. Every detail of the game has been carefully crafted to perfectly represent the iconic desert city it is.
“Our goal is to capture everything that makes Tucson a beloved destination and unique place to live in one game,” says Tripsea.
Now, here’s your chance to be a part of history. Top Trumps is actively seeking well-established Tucson businesses and beloved locales to be featured on the game board.
